Rashelle DeBolt
*Master Tutor*
Rashelle, the owner and founder of Battle Born Tutoring, has a Master's Degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in Pure Mathematics with an emphasis in Knot Theory. She worked as an adjunct professor of mathematics at the University of Nevada, Reno and as an SAT course instructor for the Princeton Review before deciding to pursue tutoring full-time. Rashelle loves learning and strives to share that passion with all of her students by finding ways to make education fun! As a private tutor, she provides tutoring for elementary school students to college students of all ages.

Vanessa Vidas
Vanessa graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics with a Statistics specialization and a minor in Big Data in 2022. During her time as an undergraduate student, she worked at the University Math Center as a peer tutor where she tutored hundreds of students and led comprehensive exam review sessions for a wide variety of math and statistics courses. This is where she discovered her love for tutoring and watching students grow more confident in their math skills. She is currently a graduate student pursuing a Master’s degree in Statistics and Data Science with an expected graduation of Spring 2024. Vanessa provides tutoring for students of all grades and subject levels, from elementary school to college courses.

Mani Mojaveri
Mani graduated with a bachelors in Mathematics at the University of California, Davis, where his studies focused on topology and neural networks. He discovered a love for tutoring at the UC Davis Academic Assistance and Tutoring Center, where he helped first- and second-year students build intuitive understanding in calculus and statistics. As Academic Coordinator for Squash on Track, Mani tutored underserved youth in math and stats while also coordinating fellow tutors. Outside of math, Mani is a passionate hiker and backpacker, and he is currently training for his first marathon.

Carly Albright
Carly received a bachelor's degree in Mathematical Sciences from Clemson University in 2019 and is currently working on a Master's Degree in Analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology. In addition to working full time, she has tutored for many years, mainly in upper level math and statistics courses. When she's not working or doing school work, you can find her spending time outside running or skiing!

Peter Knezevich
Peter graduated from Furman University in 2018 with a degree in English, focusing on creative writing. Since then, he has been working with children and teens in various capacities. After college, he began working at a wilderness therapy program helping adolescents work on their mental health, while teaching them wilderness skills. He then worked at the Boys & Girls Club, where he helped run their after-school literacy program. Currently, Peter teaches at Willow Springs Center.
In addition to his work in education and mental health, Peter is passionate about music. He has played in numerous bands over the years and writes for the online music publication Riff Magazine.

Charles Smith
Charles has received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology form the University of Nevada, Reno. While his favorite subject is math, while he was in college, he took many science courses as well. Charles loves travelling and in his spare time he can be found fencing or enjoying the outdoors.

Heather Massey
Heather has received two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Nevada, Reno in both speech pathology and English with a focus in language and linguistics. She has worked as a substitute teacher in Washoe County and as a private tutor for over three years. She is currently in graduate school pursuing a master’s degree in speech pathology. Heather loves all things regarding language, including creative writing, poetry, and Spanish. She has been speaking Spanish for over four years now and used it when she traveled to Colombia over the summer. She hopes that her passion for language will ignite joy and curiosity in literacy. She provides tutoring for all students from elementary school to university level course work.
